My museum was "El Museo De Bellas Artes", which translates to "The Museum of Beautiful Arts". It is located in the Museum Plaza in Caracas, Venezuela. In 1917, they got the idea of creating this museum and finally opened it to the public in 1938. The museum was created in hopes of giving the public a wide variety of ways to enjoy visual arts of any age. The few collections this museum features are a collection of Latin American Art, Egyptian Art, Europe and North American contemporary art, stamps, and photography. But sadly, there is not a single description of any of these collections. It also does not feature any information about special exhibitions or specific pieces they feature. It does, however, mention a few of the artists featured in the museum. They have pieces by Alexander Calder, Jacques Lipchitz, Alejandro Otero, Sergio Camargo, and Arnaldo Pomodoro.
This website has one strength; it uses very vivid words for the descriptions. Especially when describing the garden. Sadly, there are countless weaknesses in this museums website, such as the fact that there are no specific pieces of art mentioned and that the website has only one page. I know nothing of these collections. I have no way of comparing them to the history of Venezuela because of this.
I want to visit this museum because the way they describe the garden makes it sound absolutely magical. I'm also curious to know what's in this museum, considering there is no actual description of the place. The website is really terrible.

    1. Molly, despite the lack of substance on the website, or because of it, you were able to constructively criticize and articulate your thoughts. Nice work!

My Museum was called "Musee d'Orasy". It is located on rue de Lille in Paris somewhat near the Eiffel Tower. It is a Naional Museum under the authority of the ministry of culture, they are managed by the public establishment. The museum is open from 9:30 am to ^ pm daily except on Mondays. On Thursdays the museum is open until 9:45 but the last tickets are sold around 5 pm. The museum opened in 1994 and over 25 year the amount of visitors is 69,874,636. It has 4 featured galleries; The museum in motion ,photographic displays, architecture & works in focus. Works in focus has paintings, sculptures , decorative arts, photographs, graphic arts & architecture. They have a couple special exhibitions that they are providing; one being "Degas and the Nude" on the 13th of March to June 1st, "Misia, the Queen of Paris" on the 12th of June to the 9th of September and "Special Evenings" from October of 2011 to the 21st of June which feature musical performances. The website makes it easy to access the specific art collections and to search for specific things but one thing that I dislike is the fact that you need to really dig for past history on the museum . One thing about the specific collections that I did not take a liking to was how you had to click on the more button to see more about the picture but then to see the picture larger you had to click on the picture again , it wasn't displayed much larger in the more category . I did like how the photo's were displayed . I would love to visit this museum because of the photography that was shown on the website . It really caught my eye and I am very interested in visiting Paris in general.
